Please take time to read through thoroughly and ensure you fully understand the terms and conditions before you commence any service with Festoon. Festoon has the right to change or alter these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Please speak with us if you are unsure or do not understand anything in this document prior to booking with Festoon.

As a client you agrees to pay a non-refundable 50% booking fee of the quoted amount to commence any job, with the balance payable prior to install or delivery of finished artwork. No artwork will be handed over until the full balance has been paid. If the work time exceeds 4 calendar weeks in duration, the client agrees to pay the remaining outstanding balance. Outstanding accounts will incur a late fee of $5.00 per day until outstanding amount is paid.

If you are having trouble paying your account please advise Festoon as arrangements can be made so no extra fees are applied to your account.

Should there be any changes or new concepts that differ from the initial brief which was signed upon booking, additional fees will be payable according to time/materials involved, if this issue arises a new quote will be given.


Privacy policy

Any information given to Festoon will be used solely for our own marketing, portfolio and promotion purposes. It will not be sold to any third party.


If a project/service is cancelled after approval to start and booking fee has been paid, this is non-refundable and will act as the cancellation fee. However if a proof has been given and the project is then cancelled the full quoted price minus booking fee, will need to be paid by the client. You will remain liable for all fees during any period when Services have been discontinued or suspended due to a failure on your part to comply with these terms & conditions.

Suspension of Services

Festoon reserves the right to terminate services in any case where you fail to perform your obligations under the terms stated here. In any case where an amount payable is overdue by more than 14 days Festoon may terminate your account with final files withheld.



Festoon hereby excludes itself from all and any liability from:

(1) Loss or damage caused by any inaccuracy.

(2) Loss or damage caused by delay or error.

(3) Loss or damage to clients’ artwork/photos contained within the site.

(4) Loss or damage caused by any decision, refusal or positioning results made by any search engine or internet directory service.

(5) Loss or damage due to downtime of any servers.


There may be some colour variations from what you see on screen, to what the final product looks like, and previous orders. This is due to the nature of CMYK printing and bulk-run printing. There will be no reprints at our expense.

Variations in product

We strive to ensure that our Products are accurately represented on the Site, however we cannot warrant that the appearance of the Product on the Site will be exactly the same as the actual Product received. Images are provided on the Site for illustrative purposes only and may be slightly different to the actual Product received due to reproduction limitations of the photo and limitations of viewing photos with differing resolutions, hue, brightness, contrast and other screen variations. Variations in colour and material may also occur due to slight variations in manufacturing conditions. Festoon shall not be held responsible for any colour or material variation between the photos of the Site and the actual Product you receive.

Approvals of Artwork

While Festoon takes care to avoid errors, once artwork is approved that is final, Take time and care in editing your artwork. Spelling Mistakes & Incorrect Information are not Festoons responsibility. No refunds or reprints will be given.

Submitting your own artwork

Clients who send in their own artwork are fully responsible for the end result for all printing. The artwork must be print-ready with the correct specifications. Festoon provides a printing service, but will take no responsibility for artwork mistakes. No refunds or reprints will be given. When submitting your artwork it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any design that is submitted does not violate Australian copyright laws. Festoon will assume your artwork is legally yours.

Pricing & Quotes

Prices are subject to change without prior notice quotes are valid for a period of 1 month.

Content and Data Entry

The supply of content and assets is the responsibility of the client. All content for all design work must be supplied to Festoon. Content must be thoroughly reviewed before it is supplied, Festoon will take no responsibility for errors.

Ownership of Artwork

Until full payment has been made, Festoon retains all ownership of all artwork. Upon full payment, the client shall obtain ownership of the final artwork to use and distribute as they see fit.

Turn Around Times

The current turnaround time for design is 2-4 weeks depending on the product. This is from the time of booking fee payment.


Festoon is not liable for printing products that are damaged, lost or delayed when in transit.

You will be supplied with a tracking number and you can contact the relevant shipping company for more information on your parcel.

Management of Files

Festoon will archive digital files of completed project work as a free service for clients for a period of 12 months. You may request copies of your artwork (print-ready PDF only, not master files) However, please note that in some situations, archived files may not be accessible, due to storage media deterioration, corruption or changes in computer software. Festoon will take every care to preserve all digital files, however will not be held responsible for re-producing work free of charge in the event that files cannot be recovered.

Payment methods

All invoices will be mailed to the client as a PDF file. Invoices can be paid by: Direct Deposit (preferred) or PayPal ( When paying your invoice by direct deposit, please send an email to to confirm that the payment has been deposited into our account. Please note that Festoons account details are located on your invoice.
